2nd ICAO Advanced Air Mobility Symposium 2026 (AAM)

Venue: IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center
Under the theme “From Vision to Implementation: Enabling the AAM Ecosystem”, the symposium will identify critical pathways from early advanced air mobility (AAM) operations to safe, scalable and globally interoperable systems by examining lessons learned from pioneering unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and electric vertical take off and landing (eVTOL) deployments and taking stock of progress made following the Call to Action from AAM 2024, held at ICAO Headquarters from 9 to 12 September 2024.

ICAO Seventh Worldwide Air Transport Conference (ATConf/7)

November 2026

Taking place from 16 to 20 November at ICAO HQ in Montréal, Canada, ATConf/7 will be held under the theme “Air Transport: Powering Global Connectivity, Economic Development and Resilience in a Dynamic World”, and will provide a global forum for Member States and key stakeholders to engage in strategic dialogue on the future of international air transport. In this context, the conference will seek, inter alia to:

1) Advance economic regulatory frameworks to adapt to evolving market trends and technologies by leveraging data;

2) Enhance industry resilience by addressing workforce, supply chain, market access, emergency response gaps and consumer protection;

3) Mobilize blended financing to support civil aviation infrastructure;

4) Shape economic policy foundations for innovation and emerging technologies;

5) Strengthen institutional and human capacity; and

6) Enable sustainable and inclusive growth in air transport.

ATConf/7 will bring together senior officials from Member States with the requisite authority to address policy-related matters, as well as international and regional organizations, such as ICCAIA, actively engaged in the economic development of air transport, that are invited to participate in the conference as Observers.

4th International Conference on Green Aviation (ICGA 2026)

November 2026

From 2 to 4 November 2026, the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics (CSAA) and the International Association for Green Aviation (IAGA) will co-organize the 4th International Conference on Green Aviation (ICGA 2026) in Xi’an, China.

This annual event brings together international organizations, educational and research institutions, companies, authorities, and aviation professionals to raise climate change awareness, exchange cutting-edge research on green aviation, and foster cross-border collaboration — all in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and ICAO’s Long-Term Global Aspirational Goal (LTAG).

The conference programme will cover key green aviation topics, including a dedicated session moderated by ICCAIA and focused on strategies and actions taken by aviation OEMs to reduce carbon emissions.

ICAO Air Navigation World (ANW) 2026 – Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM)

October 2026

This event will take place in person from 5 to 9 October 2026, at ICAO HQ in Montréal, Canada. Its focus will be on the rollout of the new ICAO provisions related to ATFM envisaged to be applicable in November 2030.

ICCAIA Webinar Series – Episode #1: GNSS RFI

ICCAIA is launching a new webinar series designed to foster dialogue and knowledge sharing among aviation stakeholders. The series will provide a platform for expert discussions on key industry challenges, emerging trends, and developments shaping the future of international civil aviation.

The first webinar, focused on Global Navigation Surveillance Systems (GNSS) Radio Frequency Interference (RFI), will take place on 31 August 2026 at 9:00 AM Eastern Time and will bring together experts to discuss current challenges, operational impacts, and ongoing industry efforts in this important area.

ICCAIA webinars will bring together a highly engaged global audience of aviation professionals, industry leaders, ICAO representatives, government officials, regulators, and technical experts involved in shaping the future of international civil aviation.
