Montréal, 31 August 2026 – ICCAIA’s first webinar of its new Webinar Series, “Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) Radio Frequency Interference (RFI): Challenges, Impacts, and Pathways to Mitigation,” took place on 31 August 2026, bringing together industry experts and stakeholders for a timely discussion on the growing challenges posed by GNSS interference and its impact on aviation.

The webinar explored key issues including the evolving GNSS RFI threat landscape, short-, medium- and long-term actions to support mitigation, signal authentication techniques, emerging approaches to aircraft positioning, navigation and timing, and the respective roles of States and industry in addressing these challenges.

The session generated strong interest and engagement, with participants from across the aviation and aerospace community contributing questions and perspectives during the discussion.
