As an important step towards the third International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Conference on Aviation and Alternative Fuels (CAAF/3) to be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from 20 to 24 November 2023, the Civil Aerospace Manufacturing Community today undertook to achieve 100% compatibility with Sustainable Aviation Fuels for their products by 2030. Manufacturers are working with the American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) and other stakeholders to have fuel standards in place that will allow this important step on aviation’s decarbonisation journey.
