ICCAIA at the 2025 International Paris Air Show

Montréal, 30 June 2025 – From 16 to 20 June, ICCAIA’s Executive Vice President Nina Brooks had a productive and engaging week at the International Paris Air Show 2025. Highlights from the event included:

  1. Engaging with Members and Industry Peers
    Met with our members (AAIS, AIAC,  CSAA, FEMIA, MAIA, SJAC) and peers across the industry – including Safran, who hosted an excellent lunch meeting.

  2. Exploring Innovation at the Paris Air Lab
    Visited the Paris Air Lab to explore the latest in aviation technology through an interactive, immersive experience. Key topics included digitalization and AI, cybersecurity, quantum technologies, sustainable energy solutions, ultra-efficient aircraft, innovative architectures, light aviation, and emerging air mobility concepts.

  3. Panel Discussion on Artificial Intelligence
    Attended a thought-provoking panel featuring Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury, ICAO Council members, and other high-level industry speakers. The focus was on artificial intelligence – a topic set to remain high on ICAO’s agenda in the months and years ahead.

  4. Flight to Toulouse with the ICAO Council
    Enjoyed a flight to Toulouse with the ICAO Council, organized by ATR.

  5. Airbus Site Visit and Reception
    Met with Airbus executives and experts for in-depth discussions covering various topics. The visit included a tour of the Safety Center, final assembly line, and customer center, and concluded with a warm evening reception hosted by Julie Kitcher (Airbus CSO).

  6. Connecting with ATR Leadership
    Continued engaging discussions with ATR’s senior management and technical experts.

  7. Collaborating with Industry Associations
    Built new connections with other aerospace industry associations.

Several follow-up actions are already underway, and we look forward to building on the momentum and next steps that emerged from this outstanding event.
